ITV Emmerdale Sammy Winward declares love for former co-star on special day

Sammy Winward Charley Webb Emmerdale

Emmerdale's Sammy Winward sent a heartfelt tribute to her former co-star.

The soap star is renowned for her portrayal of Katie Sugden in the ITV show. Sammy was just 15 years old when she joined the cast of the long-running soap back in 2001.

She became a huge fan favourite in her 14 years on the soap before she exited the fictional Yorkshire village in 2015. Sammy regularly keeps fans with her life after the Dales on Instagram.
