Rosie Bentham told how she was supported by her co-stars when her personal life became tragically similar to what her character was going through on Emmerdale.
The 20-year-old, who plays Gabby Thomas in the soap opera had to act through the death of her screen dad's death when vicar Ashley, who had dementia, passed away in 2017. Sadly though for Gabby, her real life started to reflect what was happening on screen, the Mirror reports.
Her own dad, John, who was also a vicar, died of a pulmonary embolism two years later. A pulmonary embolism is a blocked blood vessel in your lungs.
