A brand new character was introduced on Emmerdale tonight (June 8) and he is set to cause a stir for one family in particular. The ITV soap, set in the Yorkshire village, has welcomed the addition of actor Eddie Osei to play Victor, who made his debut on screen on Thursday.
The actor is set to bring to life the 'enigmatic character' who has a 'mysterious past' and deep connections within the village. In tonight's episode, viewers witnessed Emmerdale's resident vicar Charles Anderson, played by Kevin Mathurin, engage in shifty behaviour and secretive phone calls.
The interest peaked when Charles visited a high-security prison which led to a tense and secret encounter with Victor, who soon transpired to be his father, and who has been newly released from serving a long prison sentence.
