ITV Emmerdale's Charley Webb sends fans wild as she dances in the street before sharing honest reaction to TV return

Charley Webb garnered her social media followers' full attention as she shared a video of herself dancing in the street. The former Emmerdale actress took to Instagram with a video which showed her confidently lip-syncing to Whitney Housten's hit track, I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

She paraded around the outdoor area, showing off her best moves while donning a grey turtle neck jumper which she wore tucked into a pair of belted mini shorts with sheer tights to cover her long, toned pins.

Charley, who is known for playing Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, was flanked by her pals who helped her create their own music video, including Vicky Myers who soap fans will probably recognise for playing DS Swain in Coronation Street.

"I can't," Charley wrote alongside the brilliant clip which she shared with her hundreds of thousands of followers. "Unrehearsed heaven. if I could make a music video on the streets everyday, I would," she added.

Brother and Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas was among the first to respond, posting a string of crying laughing emojis in the comments before writing: "Brilliant." Self-development coach and manifesting expert Roxie Nafousi also replied: "This is EVERYTHING I needed this morning."

And fans were also impressed. @violet_herbie_wilson said: "I could watch this over and over." @_wrapz echoed: "I can't lie this had made my day hahahahaah incredible." @liv_aka_shorty posted: "This has made my day." @tarlinglynette commented: "More please , that was brilliant."

@claudetteheeley1981 shared: "OMG @miss_charleywebb that was brilliant loved it." @joannec955 replied: "This made me smile a lot! Bloody Brilliant." @lucyclarkitsme posted: "Omg who filmed this??? Charley's post came as she also shared her honest reaction to her TV return. She made a return to screens on Monday night (February 13) in BBC One's new thriller, Better. Expected to fill the void left in viewers' lives by Happy Valley, the new five-part series, which has been set and shot entirely in Leeds and West Yorkshire, explores the complex and powerful bonds of loyalty and family, set in a world where everyone has their own version of right and wrong.

Taking to Instagram just as the first episode was about to air, Charley shared a selfie of herself to her Stories as she lay in bed with a cup of tea and wrote: "Will be watching myself with my eyes closed. Better BBC One @ 9."

Fans of the Bury-born actress haven't seen her on-screen since she left Emmerdale after 19 years. The 34-year-old hadn't been seen on screen since the beginning of 2021 after her character was involved in an affair with Al Chapman while he was engaged to Priya Sharma.

Later the following year there were rumours she was "closing the door' on the ITV soap for good" after her husband Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe in Emmerdale, reportedly became embroiled in a racism row. However, during an Instagram Q&A at the start of last year, Charley was asked if she had left Emmerdale.

And it turns out she actually left significantly longer ago than people first thought. Alongside a photo of herself with Matthew and their three children, the actress wrote: "This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it.

"I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn't."
