Emmerdale fans think they know how Billy Fletcher will be caught for mowing down Alex Moore after the ITV soap appeared to confirm the latter's condition. Viewers were shouting at their TV screens last week when Billy was revealed as the driver of the car who knocked the drug dealer down when he stepped out into the road.
At the time, Alex had been carrying out his plan to steal drugs after his earlier plans to steal directly from inside the doctors surgery backfired. As he was caught with bags of medical supplies in the boot of his car by vicar Charles Anderson, a judge was seen giving Billy and his wife Dawn sole custody of Lucas and Clemmie, whose dad is Alex. The couple then went home to celebrate but their joy soon turned to horror when Billy headed out for some fish and chips and ended up ploughing down Alex. The terrified character got out to see what he had done before getting back in the car and heading home, leaving Alex for dead.

He has since been seen in a coma in hospital while Charles has become the main suspect of the hit and run in the police investigation. Having covered up his own part in the crime, in scenes aired on Tuesday night (April 4), viewers saw Billy confessing what happened to Charles who could be facing time in prison.
After being interviewed by the police again, Charles headed to the church where he found Billy. Not a normal visitor, Charles quizzed Billy and it wasn't long before he owned up to crashing into Alex. Prepared to go to the police and confess to what had happened, Charles convinced him not to go.
He told him that what happens next is in god’s hands as the police don’t have any concrete evidence against him, despite Charles being the main suspect after the pair had a huge physical fight when the vicar learned of Alex's true motive in getting close to his daughter Naomi and stealing drugs from the surgery.
As Billy reluctantly agreed to listen to what Charles was advising, viewers were taken back to the hospital where Alex flickered his eyes open in his hospital bed, suggesting he is set to survive the ordeal. But Emmerdale viewers think that it won't be long before Billy is caught as they think they spotted a clue amid his confession to Charles.

@itzzzo_ added: "Nobody will know Charles about you and Billy lying other than the character who probably was hiding in the church and heard all of that convo #Emmerdale."
