ITV Emmerdale fans work out Faye's real link to village amid Mary romance after Caleb and Nicky exposed

Emmerdale fans think they know Faye's real reason for being in the village after Caleb's connection to Nicky was exposed. Viewers of the ITV soap were stunned last week when it was revealed that the newcomers are in fact father and son - and that Celeb is the son of Kim Tate's late husband Frank.

Fans have been suspicious of the characters, played by Will Ash and Lewis Cope, ever since they arrived in the Dales in December. While Caleb was quickly exposed as the half-brother of Cain and Chas Dingle and was wanting to reconnect with his family after learning of his mum, Faith Dingle's death, Nicky was employed as Home Farm's nanny and recently cemented a new romance with Gaby Thomas.

But things unravelled last week when Caleb had to reprimand Nicky when he started following him and new love interest Layla Cavanagh as he wanted to remind his dad about his promise to his mum. Fuming at seeing him with Leyla, Nicky, played by Lewis Cope, asked his dad: "What about mam?" But Caleb hit back "You have got to accept me and your mum are separated. We can do what we want."
