Emmerdale fans were left swooning as the village's latest newcomer arrived.
Marcus Dean, played by Darcy Grey, made his first appearance on Thursday night as he looked for Rhona Goskirk.
Rhona tracked Marcus down, with the help of Ryan Stocks, after receiving a letter from her abusive ex-husband, Pierce Harris.
Viewers of the ITV soap will remember that Pierce killed Graham Foster, Rhona's boyfriend, before kidnapping Vanessa and her young son Johnny.

Pierce was asking his ex-wife for help in finding his son as he is dying in prison.
Rhona decided to find Marcus, ending up with his phone number.
She gave him a call and instantly regretted her decision, leaving Vanessa to take matters into her own hands.
When Marcus arrived in the village, Vanessa tried to intercept him but only ended up being caught out when Rhona arrived.
The pair then went on a long walk around the Dales, where Marcus opened up about what he remembers about his dad, and the last time he saw him.
He also revealed he found out about what he had done when he saw his name appear in the paper.
Rhona told him that his dad wants to see him and by the end of the episode, Marcus was asking Rhona to go with him to the prison, leaving the vet stunned.
But Emmerdale fans think there's something dodgy going on.
@xowildflowerxo tweeted: "Marcus is definitely dodgy...no-one else would have the gall to ask Rhona to hold his hand when he sees his dad. #Emmerdale."
"I am not buying that this Marcus is Pierce’s son - at no point has he ever been mentioned. And for someone to approach Rhona with a request is a bit suss #emmerdale #pierceson #marcus #rhona," @emmapurple1 said.
@cosytoes7 commented: "#Emmerdale that Marcus is such a set up.. so obvious Pierce has set her up so she will visit him! So Ovs!"
Others, however, were too busy swooning.
"Lowkey in love with Marcus #emmerdale," @_TS_13 said.
@sadlerfiona21 tweeted: "Marcus is cute #emmerdale.2
"This Marcus has lovely blue eyes #emmerdale," @VanityPending commented.
@AVFCLil added: "I quite like Marcus. He still should have been brought in as a different connection to Rhona #Emmerdale."
Some Emmerdale fans also think he looks like another of the soap's characters.
@kerrymaynard228 said: "Does anyone notice that he looks like Marlon."
"He looks like a young Marlon from this angle lol," @iamshariah commented.
