Emmerdale viewers are predicting a future twist in the storylines for Marlon Dingle's physiotherapist, Kit - with many suggesting he could have a sinister side that soap fans are yet to see. The new character has been seen more frequently in the village in recent weeks as he has been caring for Marlon after he suffered a stroke back in March.
The Woolpack chef Marlon, who has been played by Mark Charnock in the ITV soap for more than 25 years, has been learning how to stand and walk in episodes throughout June - thanks to the help of physio. In recent scenes, there have also been hints at a new romance may be on the cards for the Kit.
During Wednesday's episode, viewers watched as he awkwardly flirted with Laurel Thomas played by Charlotte Bellamy. The pair were left flustered when he bumped into her, spilling her box of chocolates and she responded: "You must be fit... Kit", the Liverpool Echo reports.
