ITV Emmerdale fans point out multiple Meena Jutla blunders as they spot her possible undoing

Meena Jutla has been getting away with murder, quite literally, for a long time and it appears she still is - despite being behind bars.

The evil nurse was finally caught out last month after returning to the village for revenge on Billy Fletcher on his wedding day.

She kidnapped the groom before bringing him back together with his new wife and issuing him with an ultimatum - save himself or save Dawn.

While the pair managed to get away relatively unscathed, the couple's wedding planner Leyla Cavanagh ended up being shot, and Harriet Finch knocked unconscious.

But as viewers know it was Liam Cavanagh who finally came face-to-face with the serial killer and after goading him about his daughter's murder, he pushed her over the bridge - the same spot where Meena killed Leanna.

After trying to plead self-defence for the murder of Ben Tucker, Meena was finally charged as a raft of evidence proved her guilt.

While fans may have thought that'd be the end of it, they were wrong.

Meena is still pulling stings while in prison and has managed to convince vicar Charles to visit her as she repents and seeks forgiveness.

During Monday night's hour-long visit to the Dales, Charles was back visiting Meena as she started her confession.

"Whatever you tell me is between you, me and God," Charles told her, not willing to go against his oath.

After goading Charles about whether he could handle the truth, she eventually confessed to killing Andrea Tate.

But the situation was baffling to Emmerdale viewers as they pointed out a police blunder.

@ThailaDayton tweeted: "Meena confessing to charles and the 5 guards that are literally 2ft away from her #emmerdale #meena."

"Charles can’t tell bc of his oath but there was a police officer there when Meena confessed to killing Andrea, could they not tell? #emmerdale," @conormckenna101 said.

@LelJoyce said: "Whatever Meena tells Charles is between them, God, oh & the prison officers who are standing close enough to hear every word she says #emmerdale."

"Those two guards just standing there Iike ball boys at Wimbledon. This is a comedy, right? #emmerdale," @sofaneilas couldn't help but laugh.

@mikepriestley13 shared: "Right there’s 3 guards there in ear shot have just heard meena confess and will have Charles version too if that doesn’t cement meena’s demise I don’t know what will.. tho it’s meena’s story they wouldn’t of just heard that confession about Andrea #Emmerdale."

Later, Meena was seen phoning Charles after he abruptly left after she taunted him over then-girlfriend Andrea's death.

But she was left disappointed when Charles refused to see her again, despite her telling him that she had more to confess.

And the moment proved to be another sticking point for viewers - but could it prove to be Meena's undoing?

Meena was later seen and heard on the phone to Charles (ITV)

"Surely Meena's calls are being monitored? And even if not, did the prison guards not hear a single word she said to Charles? #Emmerdale," @cheesybiscuit_ said.

@djg145 tweeted: "#Emmerdale Just a point for the writers, ALL phone calls from prison are monitored & recorded. Confessions accepted!"

"I have a theory: Gov.uk says 'Prison staff can listen to and record most types of call. Some calls are not monitored, for example when a prisoner calls a legal adviser' Please, please tell me they recorded that call to Charles? #Emmerdale," @wendybradley shared.

@teamkinGZioN fumed: "Expecting #meena to be top dog by end of next episode. Cos that's how ridiculous all this is. And you just KNOW that this one prison will be the one that doesn't record calls, and that these whispery phone calls are the start of another 6 months of ridiculousness #Emmerdale."
