Fans of Emmerdale were floored as a rarely seen character returned to screens tonight.
Eve Dingle was last seen on the ITV soap when she was just a tiny baby and now she has returned. The child, played by Bonnie Clement, was now a toddler and sat doodling away with a dummy in her mouth.
Viewers were shocked at the difference in the character, who is the on-screen daughter of Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk. They took to Twitter to point out the rarity of her actually being seen on screen.

Darren said: "Wow the rarely spotted Eve Dingle #Emmerdale." Peta said: "Wow!! Is that Eve? Can’t believe she’s grown up that fast! Last I saw her she was in the back of a car that was nearly run off the road by Jamie. #Emmerdale."
Samantha said: "Bloody hell!!!! Eve was only 6 months old 20 minutes ago!! #Emmerdale". Meanwhile, another user said: "When did Eve get so big. #Emmerdale".
Chas found out that she was pregnant to Paddy in March 2019 while still grieving the loss their first daughter Grace the previous October. The baby was born in October of the same year while Chas was stuck in the toilet of the village's Woolpack pub.
Only Marlon was there to help her and in dramatic scenes Paddy's dad, Bear, managed to break the door open to get in and allow for Paddy to see his daughter being born. Just a few months after the birth social workers became involved with the family after Paddy accidentally left Eve alone in his car and a police worker found her.
