ITV Emmerdale fans have 'two words' for Amy as they're left divided over Cain scenes

Emmerdale fans have said they have just 'two words' for Amy Wyatt as she clashed with Cain Dingle over their son. There were sighs of relief for the pair during the latest trip to the Dales on Thursday (January 19) when Kyle Winchester was allowed to return home following his bail hearing.

The youngster, played by Huey Quinn in the ITV soap, was taken away from his family after he confessed to the police that he murdered Al Chapman. His dad, Cain, played by Jeff Hordley, had already taken the blame for his son after witnessing him accidentally letting off the shotgun that killed Al.

Initially, fans thought Cain was responsible after facing off with Al over his affair with sister Chas. But a flashback episode later revealed that it was Kyle who was the one to kill off his dad's enemy. And after struggling with the guilt of his father being behind bars and desperate to have him home, Kyle told the police the truth.

But last week, Moira Dingle was shocked to see her husband fresh out of prison but it came at a price as in heartbreaking scenes, Moira, Amy and the Dingles paid an emotional goodbye to Kyle as the social workers took him away. However, he made a return to the village as they wait to find out whether Kyle will have to stand trial.

As part of his bail conditions, due to Cain being a key witness, Kyle is unable to see his dad until the prosecution decide what to do, leaving the soap bad boy raging. He tried to tell Amy that he couldn't keep him away from his son, who was trying to prevent her boy going to prison.

The pair's argument spilled into the street and was witnessed by Kyle. As Amy told him that he wouldn't be able to see his dad for a bit, Cain eventually agreed and the 10-year-old was crushed, declaring that it wasn't fair and rushed off inside. After Amy and Cain's words, Matty headed to Butlers Farm, where he ordered Cain to apologise to Amy.

But still furious at being kept away from Kyle, and having been drinking, Cain pinned Matty to the frdige and told him to pack his bags and move out - which he did. However, while Emmerdale fans were flocking to social media to share their different views over Amy and Cain's predicament. Others were quick to, again, call Amy out due to her past.

@Spartacus2963 tweeted: "Two words Amy, Frank Clayton! #emmerdale." @unsworth1live said: "#Emmerdale Amy is loving this level of power & enjoying lording it over Cain even though she killed Frank & covered it up. Classic hypocrisy." @JamieTVandNews fumed: "They're really making us have to listen to Amy's sanctimonious b******t without her ever getting any sort of comeuppance for Frank's death. It's taking the p**s #Emmerdale."

@griannedoherty3 commented: "To be fair is it all that surprising Kyle turning out to be a killer given his family? Granny Kerry & Mum Amy - Frank StepMom Moira - Emma Auntie Belle - Killed her BFF Grandad Zak - Attacked Cain Debbie - Attacked a Cop tryna help Jasmine The goes on & on... #Emmerdale." @cumiskey55 added: "What would judge and jury Matty think if he knew that Amy murdered Frank by tampering with the electrics at Sharma’s factory. #Emmerdale."

Fans are referring to scenes aired in 2019 when Amy and her mum, Kerry, inadvertently started a fire at Sharma & Sharma chocolate factory after destroying the factory's CCTV system to cover up the fact Kerry stole charity money from the safe.

Frank had gone to the factory to collect his stuff after being accused of by Jai of being behind the missing money. But when inside, he realised his daughter Tracy was trapped inside a cupboard and tried to get her out. And while they both got out of the building safely, an explosion happened when Frank was stood near to the factory door, thrown against a van, and he ultimately died from his injuries.
