Emmerdale fans have been left fearing for Faith Dingle after she discovered Mackenzie Boyd's secret one-night stand with fellow villager Chloe Harris. Fans of the ITV soap had predicted the Dales' relative newcomer was Mack's mystery woman.
And it was confirmed earlier this week after Mack finally agreed to meet with her in an attempt to silence her once and for all after various text messages and phone calls. He went up to the outskirts of the village to meet her and told her he was with Charity and to forget about what happened.
But Chloe appeared to be hiding something and despite wanting to tell Mack, he didn't give her the chance. Later, Chloe admitted to Kerry she slept with Mack. Kerry warned her to keep away from Charity's man but again, as she tried to talk, she was stopped by Kerry who ended up leaving. As she did, Chloe pulled a positive pregnancy test out of her bag.

Then, during Thursday night's edition of Emmerdale, Faith overheard the big secret. The frail Dingle matriarch could hear Mack having an argument with Chloe in the Woolpack toilets. She emerged from one of the cubicles and confronted Mack after Chloe had left.
Mack confessed what had happened between him and Chloe but insisted it had been a one-off mistake and meant nothing. "It always means something to someone," Faith replied. But speaking of how Charity would take the news, she said: "She’s unpredictable and dangerous," before comparing her to a wounded animal.
Faith later had a chat with Chloe, advising her over Mack, telling her: "Let him go, love." She appeared to agree not to tell Charity but did warn Mack that "Peter Pan’s going to find more than his wings cut off" if he does anything like that again.
But Emmerdale fans are now fearing for Faith, who is terminally ill with cancer and planning on taking her own life. @MeeshyJay tweeted: "Mack better not finish Faith off #emmerdale." @penniless_poet echoed: "I hope Mack doesn't decide to do in Faith early to keep his sordid secret #Emmerdale." @Elcano6791 added: "Oooh. Faith in toilet. Is Mack going to threaten her like he did Ryan. #Emmerdale."
Meanwhile, viewers were also distracted by Mack who was sporting a new softer hairdo. @teenamassam tweeted: "Mack look likes he should be in a boy band with that hairstyle..#Emmerdale." @lesleylyness asked: "#emmerdale What’s going on with Mac’s Barnet…" @PhilipD00860729 joked: "What’s Ringo Mack doing in the ladies?#emmerdale."
