Rhona Goskirk had an all important question for Marlon Dingle on Emmerdale tonight.
The ITV soap couple have had a turbulent time lately as Marlon previously planned to propose to Rhona but when he ran home to get the ring his vision blurred and he collapsed. It was later revealed he had suffered a stroke and now many weeks later he is still struggling with his speech and movement.
Rhona has had her own worries recently too as her mum, Mary, came out as gay leading her to believe her childhood was a lie. But tonight, Rhona decided she wanted happier times to look forward to and set up a romantic scene where she asked Marlon to marry her.

Tonight's episode saw Marlon making impressive progress as he made the first step of getting back on his feet. With the help of a walking frame and his physiotherapist, Kit, he managed to take a step.
After all of his hard work, he returned to bed to have a nap. When he awoke Rhona was waiting for him, holding a ring.
However, Rhona didn't receive the expected response as Marlon said no. He thought that she had only proposed out of pity for him, and Rhona stormed out - leaving him alone in a room full of lit candles.
Fans on Twitter were quick to notice and worried about the fire hazards. Sue said: "Now I’m worried about Marlon being left alone with all those candles burning for an entire ad break. #Emmerdale." William said: "I don't think it's a good idea to leave Marlon alone in a room full of burning candles! #Emmerdale."
Doreen said: "For God's sake Rhona - don't burn the bloody house down, Marlon has been through enough #Emmerdale." Sally said: "Why has Rhona left Marlon with all those bloody candles on? #emmerdale"
