Amelia Spencer has had the shock of her life in recent Emmerdale episodes as she discovered she was pregnant.
Tonight's show revealed the teenager, played by Daisy Campbell, was actually further along in her pregnancy than she thought. She booked herself in to an abortion clinic to try and terminate the pregnancy where the nurse explained to her that depending on gestation it may be too late to do anything about it.
Later, she had a scan which revealed the pregnancy was midway through the second trimester, meaning she was still eligible to go through with the termination. However it would be a procedure done under general anaesthetic.

The nurse urged the youngster to talk to someone as Amelia was currently facing the situation alone. Earlier, she raised concerns about consent as the soap character was currently under the legal age of consent at 15 years old.
The medical professional asked: "The baby's father is he older than you?" Amelia asked: "What's that got to do with it?" The nurse added: "You're under the age of consent."
Amelia looked panicked as she said: "No, I did give consent." She gave a hint to narrow down who the baby daddy could be as she said: "He's a teenager like me. He didn't force me."
Fans on Twitter felt for the teenager as the episode ended with her sobbing in church. Pam said: "Oh Amelia. If only she could confide in someone #Emmerdale"
Kellie said: "Really feel for Amelia #Emmerdale" Teena said: "Amelia shouldn’t be facing this on her own… #Emmerdale."
