It was drama all the way on the latest airing of ITV's Dancing On Ice. Co-host Holly Willoughby was left calling for a medic, while Phillip Schofield announced news of a 'double elimination'. And the surprises continued with what one viewer called a "shock result!" on Sunday, February 27.
This weekend saw dancers battle it out in props week. Skaters slid round the ice wielding a variety of items from flags to an airport trolley... there was even a double bed. By the end of the evening it was Carley Stenson and Mark Hanretty alongside fellow contestants Siva Kaneswaran and Klabera Komini who found themselves in the bottom two. Having failed to impress the voting public the couples prepared for the skate-off.
Carley and Mark danced their skate-off routine, however, moments after the skate Carley was left in tears as she revealed a horror injury. Speaking to Holly Willoughby, she said the injury had happened during the routine. She revealed that her shoulder came out and she had to 'pop it back in' right there on the ice.
Clearly worried, Holly Willoughby then asked her? "And you just popped it back in? Okay, we'll get a medic to take a look at you now."

Moments later, Carley, despite her dislocated shoulder, was left in tears, according to Yorkshire Live, as the judges all sided with The Wanted star Siva. Ashley chose to save Siva and Klabera, as Oti said: "One couple for me was so intricate but the other was easy but perfectly executed."
Christopher Dean said: "The skate off is always do or die and tonight there were some mistakes," as he voted for Siva and Klabera as well, putting them through to the semi-final, with Jayne Torvill then making it a clean sweep at the end.
The dance off came moments after viewers - and the skaters themselves - learned that there would be a double elimination next week. Phillip Schofield said: "Next week there will be a double elimination, not one but two couples will be leaving the competition in a double elimination. And this is the first time they have all heard that," he announced to a shocked set of skaters.
While one viewer called the result a 'shock' others thought the judges made the right call on the night considering Carley's injury, which was a flare-up of a pre-existing niggle.
One fan taking to social media said: "A shock result! But it was all on the night. Carley has been superb throughout the competition, but just fell a little short tonight #DancingOnIce". Another added: "A huge congratulations to @carleystenson & @Mark_Hanretty for making it all the way to the Quarter final. Carley got stronger every week and was really developing into a natural skater. Great choreography from Mark every week. It's just a shame about her shoulder."
Another said: "Carley started off as a real contender in the first couple of weeks but has kinda just fallen away as the series has gone on." With one fan adding: "Sad for Carly and Mark leaving but if her arm is in pain from an injury it's probably the best thing. Very happy for Joey and Vanessa tonight well deserved points x"
