ITV Dancing On Ice viewers are urging the show to sign up Jane McDonald as its new host. ITV viewers want Jane - who stepped in to present ITV British Soap Awards after the Phillip Schofield scandal - to now replace the silver-haired presenter on Dancing On Ice, too.
Schofield quit the British Soap Awards and Dancing On Ice two weeks after he stepped away from This Morning, Despite vowing to continue his career when he initially left This Morning, Schofield, 61, was forced to quit his career altogether after admitting an affair with a young male runner a fortnight ago, reports Birmingham Live.
"Not a fan of Jane McDonald but she did an excellent job on the soap awards. First year I’ve enjoyed watching it in full. Never did before. Why can’t she present Dancing on Ice she would be better than the other one?" Jodie tweeted. Weasel said: "How long before Jane McDonald becomes the face of We Buy Any Car and presenter of Dancing On Ice? #SoapAwards".

Egg said: "#britishsoapawards2023 Jane McDonald and Stephen Mulhern for the next Dancing on Ice presenters. May as well get rid of Holly now Phil’s gone!"
An ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk "further announcements" will be made in "due course." "Dancing On Ice isn’t due on ITV until January 2024 and the series is not currently in production," the channel said. Jane, meanwhile, has confirmed she is joining the cast of Channel 4 Celebrity Gogglebox.
"I'm going to be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox with my best friend Sue - it's going to be an absolute blast! We’ve shared some unforgettable moments over the years but I am really looking forward to spending time together on this wonderful show. @C4Gogglebox," she said.
