ITV Dancing On Ice fans demand change after show altered

Dancing On Ice fans made a request to ITV bosses after making a major change to this year's show.

The remaining celebrities took to the ice tonight, hoping not to be the first contestant voted off.

Unfortunately, one couple did have to leave Dancing On Ice.

In the dance-off were Ria Hebden and her professional partner Łukasz Różycki and Ben Foden and his professional partner Robin Johnstone.

But after performing for a second time, the judges decided to eliminate Ben.

However, during the show, viewers tweeted to say they weren't happy with the new voting system.

Fans can vote using Dancing On Ice 's phone-in or vote online for free.

There's also the option to vote by scanning a QR code after the celebrities have performed.

But viewers said they miss using the app to vote and asked ITV bosses to bring it back.

Earlier today, Dancing On Ice tweeted: "Don't forget there's a brand new way to vote. Pre-register at http://itv.com/vote or http://stv.tv/vote. You can no longer vote via the app."

But fans said they would still prefer to use the old app.

Greig tweeted: "You can’t even vote on the app anymore."

Sarah-Jane said: "Really don't like new voting system #DancingOnIce bring back the app."

Julie tweeted: "Looking forward to it. I love Sunday nights now #dancingonice is back. I miss the voting app though."

Debbie said: "Big mistake getting rid of the app for voting!"

And Billie tweeted: "Who's going up to their tv to scan a QR code, typing is quicker."
