Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has been basking in compliments after showing off her stunning hair transformation. Fans are used to seeing the actress, who plays Daisy Midgley in the ITV soap, with brunette locks.
However, the soap star revealed back in March that she had finally gone to the blonde - or at least blonder - side after she finally got the look she was after following previous failed attempts.
Charlotte paid a visit to a salon to sort her "fried" ends and make a change to her usual slightly darker, brunette locks. She shared a before snap of her hair on Instagram Story at the time and said: "A fine example of the red ring of doom poor Amy started with (don't judge my ends they get fried as f**k being an actor lol)."
And luckily the soap star was very pleased with her new blonde balayage style after revealing that when trying to switch to the lighter colour in the past she's ended up with red hair.
But with her new locks not yet being seen on-screen, Corrie fans have been left surprised as Charlotte posed for a rare selfie on Instagram. The 26-year-old went makeup-free for the photo she took of herself pouting for the camera in her bedroom at her plush Manchester apartment.
Her lighter tresses had been styled into curls as she posed for the shot in a black strappy top and matching dark joggers. Charlotte joked in the caption: "Plz send Windolene."
Co-star and on-screen former step-mum Sally Ann Matthews was among the commenters, writing: "Oooo, look at choo with a curly blow."
Fans were also sending their compliments. @debsfleet2 wrote: "Your hair looks absolutely amazing!" @nancyhovhanesian said: "You look gorgeous love you on @coronationstreet."
@lina._.djd commented: "Omg so stunning!!!" @evieadelex replied: "Your hair looks unreal!"
But some fans were more impressed that she had posted to the photo-sharing website, with Charlotte usually keeping a low profile. @x_amy.allen_x commented: "Omg she posted."
@corr1ex echoed: "YAY U POSTED." @charlottevsp4 replied: "OMG YOU POSTED."
There were also a few people wondering if Charlotte could be returning to Netflix. Before landing the role of Daisy in Corrie, she played Gaby Grant in two seasons of series Free Rein on the streaming service.
However, lockdown hit six months after filming and it wasn't until the summer of 2020 that Charlotte was invited to audition for Corrie. Her role was announced last November before she made her screen debut at the end of the same year.
