Peter Barlow's liver transplant storyline is being revisited on Coronation Street following a shocking discovery by nurse Aggie Bailey. The recovering alcoholic had the life-saving op last year but Aggie overheard her boss Mr Thorne gloating to a colleague how he rushed Peter’s operation in order to win the bet.
And next week on Corrie when Peter and Carla find out what Mr Thorne did, Peter can't contain his anger. Peter declares that he’s going to put a stop to his abuse of power and finds Mr Thorne in a restaurant.
Mr Thorne winds Peter up and he unfortunately he loses his temper and punches him. The police arrest Peter and at the police station, Peter is charged with assault.
