Coronation Street has got a different TV schedule this week to make way for live international women's football. Soap fans' regular vist to the famous cobbles on Friday has been replaced by the Lionesses taking on the USA.
England brought football home in July when they won the Euro 2022 tournament, after beating Germany 2-1 in extra-time at Wembley. The Lionesses will return to Wembley for a friendly with the current World Cup holders.
This will see Coronation Street air tonight (Monday October 3), tomorrow (Tuesday Monday 4) and Wednesday instead at 8pm. Tonight there's drama when Jenny’s ready to host the quiz when she accidentally slips over on the mess Glenda has made mopping the floor. Daisy takes Jenny to A&E and a mortified Glenda takes over the quiz.
