Brooke Vincent has teased that she may be making a return to acting as she posted a video to social media. The Coronation Street actress, who is known for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, hasn't been seen on-screen since she left to have her first child, Mexx, in 2019.
She then welcomed her second son, Monroe, last year with her footballer fiance Kean Bryan. When speaking about the possibility of a return to the cobbles earlier this year, Brooke told Vicky Pattinson on her The Secret To…podcast : "The boys need me at the minute, I haven’t got the commitment in me to say to Corrie 'let me come back'.
"Corrie was and is very full-on when you’re busy and it makes me laugh because I know everyone has kids, but I’m like: 'I’ve got kids so I can’t come at that time. I’ve got kids.'"
But while Corrie may not be on the cards right now, Brooke does appear to be wanting to dip her toe back into her trade and shared a video of her trying to record a self tape on Instagram while on holiday. Sat at a table with her hair slicked back into a bun and donning a vibrant green jumper, the 30-year-old was seen trying to get into character.
After a moment of silence, the soap star burst out laughing. She then tried again but after more silence she asked: "What do I say?" Brooke captioned the Instagram reel: "The reality of trying to self tape with two of your non actor friends whilst on holiday in Ibiza, with no tripod, battling the 35degree heat in a costume with the only (low key) item of clothing that wasn’t swimwear for the best part of 2 hours!"
But she then added: "Smashed it my little film fairies @easpen21 @mishariazi," before her followers laughed at the outtakes. Corrie, however, is never far from people's minds as @gjacott asked: "When you going back to Corrie?"
Brooke was enjoying a break in Ibiza without her husband-to-be and their children when she decided to film the self-tape. During her trip, the mum-of-two took to Instagram to show off her various outfits and antics with her pals.
"Forever the nuisance," she captioned one of her snaps as she made herself comfortable on a large 'M'. Brooke had a huge smile on her face and threw her arms up in the air while showing off her bronzed flow in a black starry bra and matching mesh skirt which she paired with some sparkling silver cowboy boots.
She then shared another post, featuring her stunning holiday outfit in full, as well as multiple snaps of her enjoying her time on the party isle. "Soul full of sunshine .. Ibiza," she captioned the album. But it was the boots her followers were interested in.
@hungmanhorsecarriage said: "I need to know where those silver boots are from cause they're gorgeous." @natalielake78 commented: "Love those boots. You look amazing in that outfit." @boots_of_luxury added: "Queen of boots."
Despite being complimented on all her outfits and her stunning appearance, prior to heading out to Ibiza, Brooke opened up to her followers about how things have changed for her and her style since becoming a mum. As she posed at home showing off various looks, the actress penned: " ONE of the things I constantly get asked to do is reels of my outfits!! Up until now I haven’t really been fitting into my old clothes or got my “style” back after having the boys!!
"I find that I really lose that in pregnancy and whilst growing a baby is one of the most magical things, both times I found it difficult to remember what I liked to wear! I also needed easy things for me to throw on to make an outfit different depending where I were off to!!"
