She's been through many ups and downs on the Coronation Street cobbles and fans think major news could be on the cards for pub landlady Jenny Connor. Last year Jenny, played by Sally Ann Matthews, lost her estranged husband Johnny Connor in a freak sinkhole accident.
She has since found love again with toyboy Leo Thompkins. But their relationship hit the rocks when she realised his discontent at staying in Weatherfield after turning down a dream job in Canada to be with her.
Jenny, who previously struggled with a driink problem, dumped Leo and fans of the ITV soap were horrified when she hit the bottle again and kissed conman Stephen Reid in the backroom at the pub. They were interrupted by the arrival of Leo, flanked by Gemma Winter, who popped the question.

After accepting his proposal, there was more drama in Wednesday night's episode (September 7) as the pub’s charity football team prepared to take on the Flying Horse. As an excited Jenny whooped up excitement in the Rovers, she suddenly suffered a funny turn.
The 51-year-old had to sit down supported by her worried fiance. "I've just gone a bit dizzy all of a sudden. It must be the excitement," she told him weakly.

Jenny, the foster daughter of Rita Tanner, moved back to the cobbles in 2015 following the tragic death of her son Tom who drowned. She had a relationship wuth Kevin Webster and her tragic story was revealed after she abducted his son Jack.
