Coronation Street's Lisa George stunned viewers with her rendition of Maybe This Time from Cabaret as she took to the stage on ITV's All Star Musicals. Fans were blown away as Lisa, who has played Corrie's gobby machinist Beth Sutherland since 2011, belted out the musical number in character as the iconic central character Sally Bowles.
Lisa, who competed in Dancing on Ice in 2020, fulfilled her dream of performing as Sally, the role made famous by Hollywood icon Liza Minnelli. And the praise came pouring in from supporters who reckon she was made for the musical stage with her powerful voice.
Lisa tweeted: "THANK YOU for an unforgettable experience performing as Sally Bowles …tonight was a dream come true and I had so much fun on that stage!" And there was an outpouring of appreciation for her hidden singing talent on Twitter.

The show saw celebrities embark on the ultimate musical theatre masterclass with mentoring from musical theatre superstars Elaine Paige OBE, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas before being supported by a full West End ensemble and a live orchestra for their big performance.
The other celebrities taking part were Good Morning Britain presenter Alex Beresford, actress Jacqueline Jossa, wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, James Bond actor Colin Salmon and rugby star Danny Care, and Alex was crowned winner.
Ahead of Lisa's appearance on the programme, she spoke to Ranvir Singh on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (April 1) where she revealed that singing was one of her first loves, but her confidence was knocked during her early years and was even sacked from a job as they told her she 'couldn't sing'.
She explained that she’d been singing throughout her childhood and teens in school and church choirs before winning a signing scholarship at drama school.
"I always wanted to go into musical theatre, I’ve done festivals and started winning, and thought 'Oh yeah, maybe I can.'"
She continued: "I was in this show, a new show which was at Blackpool with a few stars and everything, and they sacked me and said I couldn’t sing," Lisa explained to a shocked Ranvir who said: "You are joking!?"
"I'm not," Lisa laughed. "I lost the money, I was homeless, I had to go back to my mum and dad’s and I didn’t open my mouth. I didn’t sing. I was absolutely crushed," which lead the presenter to reply: "What an awful, awful thing."
