Coronation Street viewers were baffled by a glaring issue after Sarah Platt slept with Damon Hay.
The explosive twist happened in last night's dramatic visit to the Cobbles. The character, played by Tina O'Brien, is engaged to Adam Barlow but has recently developed a worrying connection to the soap's new villain, Damon.
The character, played by Ciaran Griffiths, has caused havoc in Weatherfield as he's been running a drugs operation from the Viaduct Bistro. Damon has been flirting with Sarah and she debated inviting him to her hotel room in last week's episodes.

Sarah was furious with Damon in Easter Monday's episode as he interrupted her business meeting. However, he handed her his card with a hotel room number and Sarah confronted him for interfering.
However, the storyline took a turn when the two ended up sleeping with each other after drinking Champagne. Sarah is currently engaged to Adam Barlow, who is Damon's solicitor after the criminal was arrested for possessing class A drugs.
Damon looked certain to go to prison and the two decided to end their affair as the villain was about to be put behind bars. However, a twist at the end of the episode showed Damon was given a lifeline as Adam found a way to keep him out of a jail.
Viewers following the show on Twitter were baffled by Sarah's behaviour as they pointed out how she has previously been embroiled in a relationship with drug dealer, Callum Logan, and fans questioned how the character didn't learn her lesson.
David said: "Didn't Sarah learn anything after Callum?" Louise responded: "Gail wouldn’t be impressed."
Callum added: "Pretty clear that Sarah didn't learn her lesson after getting involved with Callum Logan 8 years ago."
