Coronation Street viewers were confused as Steve McDonald tried out a new look.
Monday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout after Amy Barlow was raped by Aaron Sandford. The character, played by Elle Mulvaney, is traumatised after the incident but has attempted to deal with the aftermath alone.
It was Nina Lucas' birthday on the latest episode and Asha Alahan tried to book a party at a bar. However, it was hit with chaos when she accidentally booked a room in Nottingham instead of on the Cobbles.

Aaron was not charged with police for the crime and offered to stage the birthday party at the builder's yard. Amy gave the go-ahead and Aaron was invited to the party.
However, her trauma came to the fore and she eventually called Aaron out on his crime. The character has opened up to her onscreen parents, Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow about the incident, who urged her to contact the police.
She has since attempted to downplay the severity of what happened to ease their fears but they have remained concerned. Steve was wondering whether he would need to be called upon to pick Amy up as they knew she had attended a party.
However, some fans following the show on Twitter were taken aback as Steve wore a cap while inside the Rovers Return. The character, played by Simon Gregson, wore a cap throughout the episode and many took to Twitter to comment on the new look.
Shaheen said: "Is that cap permanently glued to Steve's head??"
Louise commented: "Why is Steve wearing a cap??"
Dave added: "What is Steve’s obsession with this cap pls?"
Ryan tweeted: "Take that cap off Steve"
