The soap star shot to fame with her portrayal of Kelly Neelan in the ITV show. Millie exited the soap in epic scenes broadcast at the end of September.
Fans have been eager to know what is next for the 18-year-old now that she has quit Weatherfield. She has taken to social media to confirm the huge news she has been cast as Doctor Who's new sidekick named Ruby Sunday.

Millie will appear in the iconic BBC show in new episodes that will air across the festive period in 2023. Ncuti Gatwa has been cast as the new Time Lord and Millie has shared a snap together on Instagram.
