ITV Coronation Street star 'can't cope' after Millie Gibson's huge career update

Coronation Street stars flooded Millie Gibson with messages of support after she confirmed her next career role.

The soap star shot to fame with her portrayal of Kelly Neelan in the ITV show. Millie exited the soap in epic scenes broadcast at the end of September.

Fans have been eager to know what is next for the 18-year-old now that she has quit Weatherfield. She has taken to social media to confirm the huge news she has been cast as Doctor Who's new sidekick named Ruby Sunday.
