Imran Habeeb has been seen trying to save his new wife Toyah in a first look clip of upcoming Coronation Street scenes. The preview clip, taken from next Wednesday's edition of the ITV soap, shows the lawyer desperately trying to get his wife out the wreck of their car.
Corrie teased last week a horror crash for the newlyweds in a set of spoiler pictures teasing the dramatic events unfolding in next week's episodes.
It comes as the battle for Alfie intensifies between parents Imran and Abi Franklin. As viewers know the pair are currently locked in a custody battle over their baby son and while Imran and Toyah currently have custody, Abi is planning to kidnap her boy and head off to Costa Rica.

But it isn't just Imran and Abi as the residents of the street will also face the consequences in an unmissable week of episodes, which air every night on ITV at 7.30pm, which promises chaos and carnage on the cobbles.
It has been revealed that the shocking week of episodes starts with a flash-forward, with viewers seeing Imran leaving a chilling message for Toyah in which he reveals everything. As we move back and forth, the action centers around a horrific car crash that leaves both Toyah and Imran lying unconscious in the wreckage.
The pair's car plowed into a brick wall, which is covered in a scaffolding structure and a new clip has revealed the immediate aftermath of the smash, and the moment Imran wakes and realises he has to get Toyah, who is unconscious at the wheel, out of the car and to safety as quick as possible.
Imran is seen battling to get his car door open before wincing through the pain to grab his phone out of his pocket. He calls an ambulance. "We've been in a car crash. We've hit a building covered in scaffolding," the lawyer says over the phone as bits of the structure begin to drop.
He begs them to hurry as his wife is unconscious, he can't get out the car, and bits of the scaffolding continue to fall. "It's going to come down right on top of us," he warns. He then starts to get frustrated with the emergency services as he tells them he needs to get Toyah out of the car before they're both crushed.
Another clip from an episode later in the week shows questions starting to be asked about how the crash happened and it is Abi and Kevin who find themselves under suspicion from the police.
