Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has delighted fans as she shared a behind-the-scenes snap. The actress, who plays Maria Windass in the ITV soap, posed for the 'family photo' amid shocking scenes on the cobbles.
Viewers were gripped on Wednesday night (September 21) as Kelly Neelan's plot to have Maria's husband Gary Windass killed took another dramatic turn. Earlier this week fans saw Kelly, played by Millie Gibson, discover that her guardian was responsible for her dad's death back in 2019.
The teen immediately wanted revenge and those tuning into the ITV soap have seen her hearing her late dad, Rick, encouraging her to commit murder. However, Kelly enlisted the help of her kidnapper, Kieron, to do the dastardly deed in exchange for £10,000. The latest episode saw Kelly lure Gary into Keiron's trap before he was taken to the woods where he killed Rick in self-defence.

But a heartbroken Kelly, while at her engagement party with fiance Aadi Alahan, had a change of heart and tried to pull out of the hit. Kieron, however, wasn't having any of it and we later saw him kidnap the 17-year-old from the hotel.
Prior to the latest shocking twist, Corrie fans got to see the Bistro in a whole new light as it was decked out with a flower wall, balloon arch, and neon signs for the young lovebirds to celebrate getting engaged. It also saw an emotional scene for Kelly with Gary and Maria's children.
Liam and Jake presented her with a photo frame that featured a picture of them all as a strong family unit. The youngsters told Kelly that she'd still be their big sister even when she's married leading to an emotional hug and a tug on Kelly's conscience.
Taking to Instagram after the episode, Samia shared a picture of herself alongside Millie, Mikey North, who plays Gary, and young actors Charlie Wrenshall and Bobby Bradshaw, who play Liam and Jake. The group were posing outside the the Bistro on its very own red carpet.
Millie, 18, stunned in a plunging red mini dress which had been paired with matching heels. Her hair had been styled into beachy waves with her fringe plaited on either side to frame her face. Meanwhile, Samia, 40, looked gorgeous in a green polka-dot dress with halterneck and tie-waist details which she threw on with a pair of nude heels.
The boys also looked dapper, wearing an array of smart shirts and t-shirts with matching navy blue trousers. "Just a happy (dysfunctional) TV family photo… " Samia captioned the snap. And Millie was quick to respond, typing: "All love in this family.. nothing to see here… miss you gurl."
