Sally Carman is basking in newlywed bliss as the Coronation Street star enjoys her honeymoon with her 'fit' new husband. The actress, who is best known for playing Abi Webster in the ITV soap, tied the knot with co-star Joe Duttine in an intimate church ceremony last week.
On Friday (July 15) the soap star confirmed she and the Tim Metcalfe actor said 'I Do' two years after getting engaged. It comes after the pair started their relationship in the summer of 2018 and they then moved into a new home together at the end of 2019.
She announced they were finally husband and wife, after having to delay their nuptials, by sharing the first gorgeous snap from their special day on Instagram. It showed the newlyweds sharing a kiss, both with a glass of fiz in hand, stood under a stunning balloon arch.

The bride looked stunning in a floor-length, lacy blue gown while her new husband donned a pale blue suit with white shirt and a grey flat cap. "We did," Sally captioned the romantic snap, which appeared to be taken in a church, before the congratulatory messages came flooding in from their Corrie co-stars.
The pair have since jetted off on their own Italian adventure as they swapped Weatherfield for the likes of Verona and Lake Garda. Sally, 41, shared the first snap from their honeymoon over the weekend. It showed the pair dining alfresco with some pals with her commenting: " Italy, the gift that keeps on giving," alongside a string of yellow heart emojis.
The former Shameless actress was then seen putting on a decedent display as she and her new husband dined in a fancy restaurant before the opera. Posing with a menu in her hands and a pop of red lipstick on her lips as she gazed to the camera, Sally wrote: "Pre opera dinner with my husband!" before adding the hashtags '#husbandbehindthecamera' and '#goodhusband'.
And the compliments were soon racking up. @treezap1928 said: "Stunning photo. Congratulations to you both." @jobey70 wrote: "Looking beautiful." @emlamey85 commented: "Aww you look amazing love your hair, enjoy guys." @judeappleyard added: "You look stunning, wishing you both a lovely honeymoon."
But it was Sally who was soon gushing over her hubby as she posted a picture of him relaxing, watching the world go by. " Fit husband," she wrote with a yellow heart before repeating herself in the hashtag. Her Corrie co-stars, however, were quick to mock.
Alan Halsall, who stars as Tyrone Dobbs, said: " Wrong vowel." Steve McDonald actor Simon Gregson replied: "Like a fine vintage long lost just discovered bottle of milk."
And Sally is still enjoying her trip as she posted a lounging selfie on her Instagram on Monday (July 18), again donning a large black pair of shades while her blonde locks were swept away from her face. "Lakeside," she said.
Sally and Joe celebrated their four year anniversary in June. Taking to Instagram, Sally shared a cosy photo of the engaged pair on what appeared to be a soggy woodland walk. She had her arms tightly wrapped around her man as she grinned for the camera in a khaki cap and matching coat as well as a pair of dark black shades. Joe, 51, meanwhile was in charge of taking the sweet photo and so placed one arm around his future wife as he posed in his raincoat with his hood up.
"Four years," Sally, who starred in Channel 4's Shameless before landing the role of Abi in 2017, captioned the snap to her thousands of followers alongside a string of yellow love hearts.
