Millie Gibson took a break from filming for Doctor Who to return home to Manchester for a spot of Christmas shopping and a Coronation Street reunion. The actress, who played Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap, was spotted in the city centre hitting the shops as she spent time away from her new role.
Millie, who was revealed last month as Doctor Who's next assistant, looked chic as she wrapped up in a cream coat for her chilly outing before enjoying a get-together with two of her former co-stars. The 18-year-old joined Kel Allen, who played her mum Laura in Corrie, and Georgia Taylor, who is famed for playing Toyah in the ITV soap, for dinner with the actresses sharing a glimpse into their reunion on social media.
The former soap star, who will play the 15th companion Ruby Sunday alongside Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor in 2023, looked stunning as she showed off her new hair. After landing her major first role since appearing in Corrie, Millie went for the chop. She headed to the salon last month where she kept her blonde locks, but has cut them into a stylish short bob.
