Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has confirmed that one of his co-stars will be leaving the soap.
There were rumours earlier this year that Imran Habeeb star Charlie de Melo had quit the role after five years. Appearing on This Morning, the Kevin Webster actor confirmed the news.
He explained that there was a big week set to happen on the soap. Spoilers have shown that Toyah and Imran are set to be in a horror crash with them both lying unconscious in the wreckage.

Michael said: "There's a quite intense week coming up, mainly for Abi and Imran Habeeb, which we found out is not that easy to say. Can you imagine saying that on a daily basis? I'm glad Charlie has left now and I don't have to say Habeeb anymore."
Toyah actress, Georgia Taylor, is said to be "heartbroken" over the departure of her on-screen partner. She revealed that the crash scene was Charlie's final week of filming on the ITV soap.
She said: "You know what it's like I absolutely adore him, he has been a dream, and we have been together on the show on and off for three and a half years. But I'd say the last year since we did all the stuff with Seb's trial where Kelly was on trial for murder, we have been pretty consistently busy, and most of our stuff has been together.
"It has just been a joy, he is so funny we laugh a lot, but he is one of the most supportive people I have ever worked with. Even now, he is still texting, last night, he knew I had a big day, he was asking, 'How did the day go, are you ok, I am sure you did amazing', and he is such a team player.
"And I mean, look at him, there [are] no complaints there either, he is beautiful, but I am so excited to see what he does next. I just think the opportunities are going to be endless for him he is going to fly."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and the ITV Hub (apart from the week beginning May 30)
