ITV Coronation Street's Kate Ford 'doesn't age' as she shares memorable Tracy Barlow throwback

Kate Ford has taken fans of Coronation Street back to 2007 with a throwback snap of her as character Tracy Barlow. The actress is best know for the role of the florist having joined the soap in 2002.

She took of the role of Tracy, the daughter of Deirdre Barlow and Ray Langton and adoptive daughter of Ken Barlow, from Dawn Acton who appeared in the role from 1988 to 1999. Kate made her first appearance in the role when Tracy fled to Weatherfield amid her marriage problems with Robert Preston after Tracy's affair.

Her memorable pregnancy storyline soon followed when Tracy had a one-night stand with Steve McDonald. She wanted to take things further but Steve reconciled with his wife Karen instead. So Tracy bet Bev Unwin 1p that she could bed Roy Cropper, in order to prove that she could have any man she wanted.

Tracy then drugged Roy and took him home to No.1 so that when Roy woke up, he believed that they had slept together. A few weeks later she blurted out that she was pregnant and claimed the baby belonged to Roy and tried to get £20,000 for him and wife Hayley to adopt the unborn child, whom we now know as Amy.

Obviously, the truth came out and a few years later, Tracy turned to murder. Back in 2007 she killed her then-boyfriend Charlie Stubbs after discovering his affair with Maria. She whacked him round the head with a metal statue in the middle of a lap dance. Charlie ended up in a coma and died later in hospital.

Sharing a photo of herself from a Corrie scene, showing Tracy with a whispy full fringe and striking red lip, Kate wrote: "Tracy Barlow the Charlie Stubbs days….." Her co-star's and fans were quick to comment on the post.

Lisa Geroge, who plays Beth Sutherland in the ITV soap, wrote: "Charlie’s angel more like!- stunnnninggggg," alongside a few flame emojis. Helen Flanagan, who starred in Corrie as Rosie Webster, simply said: "Beautiful," to which Kate sweetly replied: "Miss you x."

But it was her ageless appearance that really got fans talking. spesh_pp said: "You don’t age." @adamslimm1 commented: "Beautiful havent aged a day @realkate1." @rachelsamanthasmith wrote: "@realkate1 awww beautiful photo you haven't changed one bit still as beautiful as ever!"

@julierussett replied: "Wow!! Gorgeous, only difference is the bangs! Like a fine wine you get better with time!" @barturuspoli shared: "Could have been yesterday!" @stu69ball added: "Wow! Gorgeous then and Gorgeous now."

And it also made them very nostalgic. @sueryder_ commented: "The Tracy Barlow we love to hate! Bring back “toxic Tracy” acting at the top of its game!! Bring back those great story lines." @ellesryan said: "Your performance was and remains, epic. Charlie didn’t stand a chance once he was in your web!"
