Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has once again showed his humour as he gave fans a glimpse at his new look. The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, took to Instagram with a few snaps to show off his changed hair do.
Posing in the mirror of his home, the soap star captioned the trio of images: "New hair don’t care anymore, new me & new year also, hashtag floor goals".
Jack is seen in the pictures wearing a white branded t-shirt which he had tucked into a pair of skinny black jeans, being held up by a belt with chains dangling by his pocket.
He completed the look with a pair of black high-top Converse and posed up a storm for the camera as he took his selfies in a floor length mirror with a chair and shelving unit in the background.
But it was all about the 34-year-old's freshly cut locks, which had been styled into a voluminous quiff with a little Elvis-inspired curl spotted creeping down to his face.
Jack's girlfriend Hanni Treweek was among the first to comment, writing: "My favourite influencer," with a flame emoji before fans started piling in with their comments. @dianehut84 said: "There’s something about jack. Looking good jack suits you mate."
@jillregansmith commented: "New hair looks great." @brownlorna964 shared: "Your hair looks good." @kimdoyle_27 replied: "Looking sooooo good Jack!" @oliviarosemunro added: "Looking good jack and love you on Corrie at the moment."
He also uploaded a video to His Instagram Story from his own mini photoshoot, laughing to the camera: "For those asking, so no one, new hair cut." But he did baffled some with one thing as he tagged his location as 'Primark Changing Rooms'.
@magicalame replied: "What primark are you going to cause i swear my primark changing rooms aren’t that fancy." @bethanylouisecordwell said: "Loving the look Jack! I work at Primark in Sheffield! Come shop there haha!" @isalisey87 asked: "That's a primark changing room?"
But we're pretty sure Jack is just playing around as he's previously posed in the same location, tagging it as '101 Dalamations' back in March as he posed in the 60s-inspired Mirror and 'Jersey street social club' last year.
Last month the soap star saw the funny side over a case of mistaken identity at the supermarket. He thought it was hilarious when a cashier in Sainsbury's recognised him, but not for his long-standing role on Coronation Street.
Instead, she was adamant that he was a contestant on the ITV gameshow Tipping Point after a celebrity episode he had appeared on repeated over the weekend. "Just in Sainos then," he said in a video shared on Instagram. "Woman on the till says 'where do I know you from?' I went 'oh it's Coronation Street.
"She went no. 'No you were on something last night.' She went 'Tipping Point, that's it.'" Jack burst out laughing as he recalled: "I went 'oh right was I?', 'yeah, how did you do?' 'not bad.'"
