Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan couldn't have been further away from her on-screen character's relationship woes as she ditched Weatherfield for Paris. The actress, best known for playing Daisy Midgley in the ITV soap, hasn't had the best of luck in love on the cobbles so far.
The character's jealousy got the better of her as new boyfriend Daniel Osbourne supported former flame Nicky Wheatley after her sex worker past was revealed to the entire school where she had just bagged a job. After Daniel, played by Rob Mallard, paid Daisy for the leak, the couple appeared no more.
However, the pair have since rekindled their on and off again relationship following Nicky's decision to leave Daniel's flat after he welcomed her and her daughter, Maisie, in.

Luckily for Charlotte, she's all loved-up in real life. The actress, who joined Corrie back in 2020, took to Instagram over the weekend to share some snaps from her trip away. Sharing a bunch of images from museums, buried in the mix was a pic of the star relaxing back with a cocktail in the sun.
There was also another of her other half, Paul, sipping on what looked like an Aperol Spritz outside on the streets of the French capital. Then, Charlotte and her beau were spotted puckering up for a classic snap in front of the Eiffel Tower. The soap star looked glowing in a pair of dark shades and grey blazer while Paul grinned in a pair of aviator sunglasses and blue zipped top.
"Live-Laugh-Louvre," Charlotte captioned the string of holiday snaps. Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who plays her on-screen love rival, was among the first to comment, simply writing: " Cute." Actress Rosie Day also wrote: " Dead. Done. Dead. Who gave u the right to look like this. Both of you."
Charlotte tends to keep her private life just that. But what we do know is that the pair share an adorable French Bulldog, named Olive, who regularly makes an appearance on the former Netflix star's Instagram page.
But Paul has actually made a cameo in Coronation Street alongside his girlfriend. Last year viewers saw a scheming Daisy trying to seduce Ryan Connor while he was in a relationship with Alya Nazir. In controversial scenes, the barmaid got Ryan drink and when she grabbed his thigh in the scene, it wasn't actually actor Ryan Prescott's, but the leg of her boyfriend.
"They roped my boyfriend in because we're shooting socially distanced," she told The Sun at the time. "He's not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street, so it was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff. It was very sweet. It was lovely."
