Coronation Street's very own real-life couple appear to have celebrated their love again with a second wedding attended by their co-stars. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine tied the knot in an intimate church ceremony last month.
On July 15, Sally, who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap, confirmed she and the Tim Metcalfe actor said 'I Do' two years after getting engaged. It comes after the pair started their relationship in the summer of 2018 and they then moved into a new home together at the end of 2019.
She announced they were finally husband and wife, after having to delay their nuptials, by sharing the first gorgeous snap from their special day on Instagram. It showed the newlyweds sharing a kiss, both with a glass of fizz in hand, stood under a stunning balloon arch. "We did," Sally, aka Mrs Duttine, captioned the post.
The bride looked stunning in a floor-length, lacy blue gown while her new husband donned a pale blue suit with white shirt and a grey flat cap. The loved-up pair then jetted off on an Italian adventure as newlyweds with Sally sharing updates on social media as they swapped Weatherfield for the likes of Verona and Lake Garda.
But after returning to the UK, and heading off again on a trip to France where they sipped pints in the sunshine, it appears Sally and Joe have said 'I Do' all over again.
Vicky Myers, who appears in Corrie as the no-nonsense DS Swain, took to Instagram to share a few snaps from the special day on Saturday (August 13). Sharing the snaps to Instagram on Sunday, Vicky captured the couple as they danced in a stunning tent in the countryside.
Sally, 41, and Joe, 52, appeared to don their original outfits from their first big day as they soaked up the love from their guests. "Last night, I was privileged to join a bunch of beautiful people in celebrating this fabulous couple saying ‘I do’," Vicky captioned her images.
"What a night it was. Congratulations to a very special couple and my dear friend, the inimitable @sally_carman__ Here’s to Mr & Mrs Duttine," she added. Sally was quick to respond, writing back in the comments: "You’re just wonderful [heart emoji] Love you buddy."
Vicky also posed alongside Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, after the pair spent more time filming together following the character's car crash which resulted in the death of Toyah's new husband, Imran.
And fans were flooding the post with compliments. @clarerileyxx said: "Gorgeous gorgeous! & you look gorgeous! Love your dress and hair." @christianvela007 commented: "Absolutely wonderful." @megcraw5_xx replied: "Lovely pics." @vickyd_81 added: "Love your dress Vicky looks like you all had an amazing evening!!"
Sally and Joe celebrated their four year anniversary in June. Taking to Instagram, Sally shared a cosy photo of the engaged pair on what appeared to be a soggy woodland walk. She had her arms tightly wrapped around her man as she grinned for the camera in a khaki cap and matching coat as well as a pair of dark black shades. Joe, 51, meanwhile was in charge of taking the sweet photo and so placed one arm around his future wife as he posed in his raincoat with his hood up.
"Four years," Sally, who starred in Channel 4's Shameless before landing the role of Abi in 2017, captioned the snap to her thousands of followers alongside a string of yellow love hearts.
