Jack James Ryan has without a doubt been his older sister's biggest cheerleader as she joined him in the cast of Coronation Street.
The actor, who has returned to the soap as Jacob Hay following a brief stint on the cobbles in early 2021, has regularly been showing his support for Rebecca Ryan who bowed out of Corrie earlier this week after three months of playing Lydia Chambers.
The 30-year-old actress first appeared in Weatherfield back in December as the PA of a client of Underworld's which is when she met Sarah Barlow. Bonding over the fact they both had a son of the same age, Sarah became friends with Lydia and was soon introducing her to hubby Adam.

Lydia, however, already knew Adam, being one of his former flames for their university days, but he just didn't remember her and his reaction triggered past hurt for Lydia who set about getting revenge on her ex which ultimately led to her telling Sarah she was having an affair with her husband and planted evidence to make it look like that was the case.
But things took a turn during Monday night's Corrie when Adam confronted Lydia about her lies once and for all. She admitted what she had done and an emotional Lydia jogged Adam's memory about their time dating back at university and how badly he treated her, telling him how she was left seeking an abortion alone when she fell pregnant at the age of 19.
As he apologised for his actions back then and the pair appearing to end on amicable terms. However, when Adam asked if Lydia could tell Sarah the truth, Lydia became enraged and she ended up slapping Adam. As he tried to stop her walking away, Lydia Adam a hard shove and resulted in his fall which left doctors trying to save his sight.
Rebecca has since sent a message to Corrie fans and confirmed she had indeed left after walking away a free woman thanks to Adam telling police she didn't push him.
And her brother, Jack, has revealed a sweet video of his older sister being applauded on her last day of filming on the Salford-based soap set. He also shared a picture of his on-screen girlfriend, Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney, who had kindly made some cakes for the occasion.
The 25-year-old also shared a video of them both walking down the famous cobbles with the Rovers Return in the background, both wearing their big red and blue ITV puffer jackets. "I'm gonna miss ya mate @rebeccarya__," Jack wrote across the clip which saw him pull his older sister into a hug.
Jack also expressed his sadness at his sister exciting the soap but once again showed his pride in a Tweet alongside a TikTok video he made of them together at work as well as their karaoke sessions in the car to a from the Corrie set, all to the backdrop music of the Friends theme tune, I'll Be There For You by The Rembrandts.
"I can’t believe that’s Lydia over and out," he said. "So gutted we didn’t get to do a scene together but these past few months have been so special for us. I think Lydia should come back as Jacobs long lost sister."
He added: "What a ride, @RebeccaRyan1 you’re the real deal #Corrie @itvcorrie," before their co-stars started having their say.
"Awwww this is the BEST," Tony Maudsley, who plays the soap's George Shuttlewoth, said before telling him: "I wanted to be in the back of the car!!!"
Alexandra Mardell, who has already filmed her final scenes as Emma Brooker, commented: "This is so cute! Superstar siblings!!"
