Coronation Street fans have made it clear what Adam Barlow should do after he suffered a horror fall at the hands of tormentor Lydia Chambers.
Viewers of the ITV soap know that the former love rat is having his life ruined by Lydia, his wife Sarah's new friend who also happened to be his former flame back in their university days.
Lydia arrived in Weatherfield back in December as the PA of one of Underworld's clients but she soon hit it off with Sarah as the pair bonded over both having a young son.

But something went awry when Sarah introduced Lydia and Adam. He did not remember who she was which seemingly sprung her revenge plan into action.
Bunny boiler Lydia has managed to convince Sarah that she and Adam have been having an affair behind her back, even planting a phone in the couple's flat to back her and sending texts using their WiFi from outside their home at all hours. She has also been behind anonymous phone calls, a bogus tip-off to firearms police who stormed Adam's office, and a bouquet of flowers with a menacing note arriving at Adam and Sarah's flat.
Next week, as the truth about their past comes tumbling out, a heated row ensues but when an emotional Lydia lashes out at a seemingly unrepentant Adam, a violent shove sees him falling over a first-floor railing crashing onto the floor below.
Then, in hospital, a doctor tells his grandfather Ken and uncle Daniel that Adam has suffered a bleed behind the eye and needs an operation to save his sight. But as his concerned family quizzes him about his fall, suggesting Lydia’s to blame, Adam claims he doesn’t remember.
Corrie has since released a new trailer teasing the upcoming drama with Lydia seen telling Adam: "I want you to own what you did," before their brief scuffle ensues. And viewers of the ITV soap have been casting their thoughts on what should happen when Sarah eventually finds out the truth.
"Well this should prove once and for all that he's telling the truth. Sarah was too quick to believe Lydia so I hope he doesn't go back to her in a hurry!" Elizabeth said on Facebook.
Virginia commented: "If Adam survives, and Sarah finally realises he’s been telling the truth, I hope he kicks her to the curb. Adam deserves better."
@MeeshyJay tweeted: "I hope Adam tells idiot Sarah to f*** off when the truth finally comes out and she comes crawling back to him #corrie."
"I was never convinced Sarah and Adam should be together, he is actually far too good for her, I hope when he’s vindicated he doesn’t take Sarah back and he gets someone who actually loves him #Corrie Sarah can go back to Garry! #coronationstreet," @ScutcherM also said.
And others were quick to point out that Adam is like a cat with nine lives as he looks set to survive another attack after being hit over the head by Faye Windass in a case of mistaken identity at the end of 2020.
"Adam must have 9 lives first Faye now mad Lydia," Tanya wrote on Facebook.
Karen said: "How many more times is Adam getting beaten up by women???"
"He has one hard head , gets hit with a bottle, now a fall," Lee commented. Rachelle added: "Poor Adam, how many times has he been assaulted now."
