There were wedding bells during the first trip of the week to Weatherfield as Toyah Battersby and Imran Habeeb said 'I do'. The couple almost didn't it make it to the wedding as Imran's infidelity came back to haunt them.
In scenes aired last month, Toyah discovered the truth about Imran's one-night stand and revealed at her and Imran's adoption hearing that her partner had been cheating on her and had a secret baby with their drug addict neighbour Abi Franklin.
This quickly turned into Toyah kicking Imran out of their home and Toyah having to say a heartbreaking goodbye to foster daughter Elsie after she wasn't allowed to adopt the little girl on her own. But, after initially rejecting Imran's ideas of a reunion, Toyah had a change of heart.

It came after Imran shared his concerns that Abi might be back on drugs and told her that he intends to fight for custody of Alfie and wanted them to raise him together. Toyah agreed that she'd help him and the pair have gone back to being a seemingly solid couple and continued on with their wedding plans.
However, during Monday night's Corrie (May 2) fans were shocked Toyah went through with her vows despite Abi tried to hijack their big day. Moments earlier Abi jumped into Toyah’s wedding car just as the bride was getting in and, driving off, she tried to persuade Toyah to cancel the wedding.
But Toyah continued on and her and Imran are now Mr and Mrs Habeeb and are planning on getting custody of Alfie over Abi. However, viewers were distracted by the couple's choice of wedding guests and noticed there were two people in particular missing.
"Why did Les and Janice not turn up for their daughter's wedding," Emma Lunt wrote on Facebook. Marc Dorrian replied: "I was thinking the same but if I remember they split up but you are right they should of turned up."
Whereas Yvonne Reilly said: "Why would they. They never turned up when their grandson died or anything else," referring to the heartbreaking death of Leanne Battersby's son, Oliver.
Suzanne Weatherby also quizzed: "Why would Janice nor Les attend their daughter's wedding?" while @WilliamWillh commented: "Toyah must have forgotten to invite Les and Janice! #Corrie #CoronationStreet."
@priya_kaur_uk tweeted: "Would have been nice if Janice and Les turned up! #Corrie," with @jonnymgdraws echoing: "Aw it would have been nice to see Les and Janice wouldn’t it? #corrie #coronationstreet."
Then, Victoria Wynn asked: "Why was Craig at the wedding?"
Meanwhile, there were also a lot of comments for Toyah and Leanne over the gorgeous looks. While Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor who made her Corrie debut at 17-years-old back in 1997, looked stunning in a flowing, beaded white wedding dress. Her blonde locks had also been styled into loose curls for a half-up, half-down look.
Leanne also had her blonde hair styled into curls as she donned a halter-neck, green lace dress. And Corrie viewers were quick to comment.
@TashAmaka tweeted: "Leanne’s dress is really nice. Upstaging the bride #corrie," as @ElvisyGary said: "Wow!! Have a look at Leanne. #Corrie.
