ITV Coronation Street fans all say the same thing as Beth drops bombshell on Faye

Coronation Street viewers agreed Beth was too gossipy for her own good as she revealed Craig doesn't want to have a baby with Faye.

Viewers of tonight's Coronation Street were all in agreement regarding Beth's 'gossipy' behaviour, saying she 'couldn't keep a secret to save her life'. As she was joined by Faye, she found it difficult to keep Craig's private life to herself.

Unprovoked, Beth told Faye that Craig doesn't think it's a good idea to try for a baby. Until now, Faye assumed Craig was completely on board with the idea and was excited about starting a family with him.

Beth said Craig told her they were trying for a child to which Faye said: "Alright and you think it's not a good idea. You think I'm not good enough for him or his baby." Beth denied this, saying she was simply concerned.

She said: "Don't put words in my mouth sweetheart, I was quite pleased to hear it. It's Craig that doesn't think it's a good idea. I'm sorry, he swore me to secrecy but I can't let him go ahead with something he's not ready for. And you wouldn't want that either would you?"

Faye wasn't the only one shocked as fans weighed in on Beth's 'gossipy' behaviour. One viewer said: "Good grief Beth - your Son tells you something in confidence then you go and squeal to Faye straight away - Craig will never trust you again! #Corrie"

Another said: "Didn’t take long for Beth to open her gob…#Corrie". One more viewer added: "Beth doesn't know what the word secret means #Corrie". Viewers saw Faye being taken to hospital recently due to stress after Emma Brooker finally admitted the truth to boyfriend Jon Spear about her and Faye's role in his grandfather's death.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
