The Coronation Street boss has shared his fear on Jude Riordan's show future.
The talented St Helens youngster's portrayal of Sam Blakeman has been a hit with fans since he joined the cast in 2020. Jude's performance has been singled out for praise as the 11-year-old bagged Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards.
Iain MacLeod appeared on today's Loose Women to discuss the upcoming plans for Corrie. The show producer lifted the lid on what is to come for Hope Stape as she continues her obsession with her serial killer dad, John.

Hope is played by Isabella Flanagan and is Sam's cousin in the show. The two often share the screen together and Iain told Loose Women how he hopes they will continue their journey to adulthood on the Cobbles.
He said: "With Hope and Sam, we're taking as our benchmark PJ & Duncan. What if we can take these two kids that are 10 and grow them for a decade into this incredibly rich and storied friendship."
However, Iain heaped praise on the two young stars as he admitted he was concerned they will soon be poached for bigger things.
He added: "Obviously both those actors are so talented they might well be off to Hollywood by the time they're 14."
