ITV Coronation Street blunder spotted as Kelly Neelan escapes kidnap horror

Coronation Street fans were distracted as Kelly Neelan escaped her kidnappers.

The character, played by Millie Gibson, has been abducted by her criminal dad's old acquaintances. The kidnappers held Kelly captive in a bid to get £50,000 ransom money.

Gary Windass was trying to locate her in tonight's episode and arranged to give the kidnappers the money to ensure her return. However, the character had planted a tracking device in the bag in order to find where they were holding Kelly.

Gary broke into where the criminals were holding Kelly hostage and fought off her abductors. However, it was Kelly who delivered the final blow as she knocked her captor unconscious with a crowbar.

The two contacted the police who cleared Kelly of any wrongdoing as she used justifiable force. Maria Windass was relieved as Kelly arrived safely back at 5 Victoria Court at the end of the show

However, viewers following the show on Twitter were distracted by Kelly's appearance during the kidnapping scenes.

Stuart said: "Oh my, She looks worse now than she did in the dungeon. Where all that dirt come from."

Ty added: "All that dirt on her face and Kelly's make-up still looks fire. Is it tattooed on or ...."

Doreen posted: "Kidnapped and bursting for a pee? Fake eyelashes immaculate"
