ITV Britain's Got Talent: What time is the final on tonight and who are the finalists?

After a night's break, the Britain's Got Talent final is finally here. In the last week fans of the ITV talent show have been treated to five live semi-final shows as the acts were whittled down.

And it is fair to say there were tears, shock and plenty of buzzers throughout as multiple acts - ranging from singers to magicians, ventriloquists to dancing robots and dinosaurs - made their bid to become the 2022 winner of BGT, bagging £250,000 in prize money and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.

The week of shows were once again hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams giving their verdicts before half of the decision lied with the public and the other with the four-piece as to who would make it through to the final stage.

BGT viewers will get to have their say once more and discover who is the BGT 2022 champ live on Sunday, June 5, on ITV at 7.30pm. And here's who will be vying for your votes.

Busker Maxwell Thorpe was the first to sail through to the grand final while a split judges decision led to Jamie Leahey and his chicken Chuck getting the second place.

Impressionist Ben Nickless won the second semi-final show with musical duo Flintz & T4ylor getting the judge's vote. Singer Tom Ball, who has been drawing comparisons with former BGT star Susan Boyle, also bagged a spot as did teen comedian Eva Abley.

Amanda's golden buzzer act, whose voice is well recognised from The Greatest Showman, has also made it through to the final as did young dancers 5 Star Boys. And last, but by no means least, Simon's golden buzzer act, comedian Axel Blake, was a hit with the public and sailed through while schoolboy environmentalist Aneeshwar Kunchala bagged the last spot.

However, show boss Simon confirmed there will be an additional “wildcard” act who will join the finalists on Sunday. They will be a semi-finalist so viewers will have seen them in the last week. The judges made their decision after the show on Friday night but won't be confirmed to viewers until Sunday.
