ITV Britain's Got Talent judge heckled over verdict on act

Supporters of magic act were not happy with Britain's Got Talent Judge David Walliams when he delivered his verdict on the act following their semi final performance. The comedian was heckled on Friday night as he gave his verdict on a magic act.

Matricks Illusion performed a big routine which saw them bring out a Simon Cowell lookalike that they 'squished' into a cardboard cut out as part of their act. Whilst some of the judges were impressed by their quick changes and even making a drum set appear out of nowhere, David wasn't too impressed and his comments earned an angry response from annoyed family and friends, The Mirror reports.

Shouting from the audience, the furious relatives of the act took aim at David. Following their performance as the first act of the night, David said: "There wasn't quite enough tricks in there," as sounds of boos filled the Hammersmith Apollo in London.

"This is my opinion," he added as he silenced the critics, "But you put on a show and it felt like good old fashioned entertainment. I just could have done with a few....." Their friends and family were less than impressed with his comment as one of them shouted: "Wake up David!"

He then added: "Wake up David? I was awake, I was wide awake."

Alesha also admitted she didn't like the performance as much as she did the first time around, explaining how she had wanted more than the first audition.

"We're looking for that big moment, and a big pay off, and I felt it was a little under par today," she said.

Noticing the young girl was in tears, Alesha quickly went on to praise the female performers who took part and said it was the magic that was lacking rather than their performance.

Simon later apologised to the young girl, insisting he never meant to make her feel upset or sad, as he gave critique on the next act, Welsh of the West End's performance.

After they were given their blistering view, the frontman of Matricks Illusion apologised if they had "fell short" during their performance, insisting he was the one to blame and not anyone else as he choreographs it all himself.
