Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is set to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday, as confirmed by her office over the weekend. The official announcement was made through an agenda entry on the Italian government’s website, detailing Meloni's presence at the ceremony scheduled for 12 p.m. ET at the Capitol.
Joining Meloni at the inauguration will be other prominent European populist figures, including Britain’s Nigel Farage, leader of the right-wing Reform party. Farage, who recently shared his plans with USA Today, will also be in attendance at the ceremony.
