Italian giants join Nottingham Forest in queue to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja

Nottingham Forest are facing a growing list of competition to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja. The Reds are looking to sign Broja on a loan deal after his impressive season on-loan at Southampton last season. He scored six goals and contributed one assist in 32 appearances for the Saints.

Broja is available for another loan away from Stamford Bridge having established his talent during an impressive 12 months on the south coast.

According to Ryan Taylor of the Daily Express, at least six clubs are interested in signing Broja this summer either on loan or permanent deals. West Ham, Southampton, Everton and Forest have routinely been named as having an interest, whilst Napoli and Inter are also understood to be monitoring the situation.

Taylor adds, however, that Chelsea's plan remains the same despite the growing interest with Thomas Tuchel wanting him at Stamford Bridge for pre-season before making a decision over the striker's future.

The Blues are unlikely to let Broja depart cheaply given he has four years left on his contract still; Forest are likely to use Cooper's reputation for developing young players as part of an argument to sign him on a loan deal.

Forest are also ready to move for Wolves forward Morgan Gibbs-White, who excelled on loan in the Championship with Sheffield United. The 22-year-old scored 12 times and assisted a further 10 in 37 appearances for the Blades.
