A popular stretch of Allerton Road is hosting an Italian themed festival.
Over the weekend of July 1 and 2, people can sample food and buy Italian themed produce from the independent traders who are taking part. Italiallerton is encouraging people to come to the area and support the local businesses who work so hard to keep the area thriving.
Kat Monaghan, manager of grocer’s Adam’s Apple, has helped organise the event. She told the ECHO: “We are really excited about Italiallerton - we have done a few similar ‘festival’ type events at our shop before including various collaborations with other small local businesses. They've all gone really well, bringing the local community together and showcasing what independents here have to offer!”
