Former Liverpool star Don Hutchison disagrees with Tim Sherwood’s view on Jurgen Klopp’s future at the club.
The Reds have found things difficult this season and are currently in a battle to try and finish in the Premier League’s top four. Liverpool are currently 10 points adrift of fourth place and are in ninth position in the table.
Klopp has recently spoken about his future as Liverpool manager. The German is contracted to the club until 2026, and insisted that he will not walk away from the job despite the tough circumstances.

However, Sherwood said back in October that Klopp could leave the club at the end of the season. The former Tottenham and Aston Villa manager said why he thinks the Liverpool boss may leave Anfield in the summer.
"I don’t think Jürgen Klopp is there next season," said Sherwood on The Kelly and Wrighty Show in October.
"I think there’s a conversation to be had. I’m not sure Jürgen picks them up from where they are and makes them challengers again. I really don’t, history says he doesn’t do that.
"He’s very good and drives teams all the way, but it’s going to be a fight to get in the top four now. If they miss out on the top four it’s a rebuild, a total rebuild.
"I don’t think they’ll sack him but there will be a conversation where both parties agree that Jürgen has taken them as far as he can and they go for a new challenge.
"That’s just my hunch when I look at him and the team."
Referencing those comments, Hutchison explained why Klopp’s former team Borussia Dortmund will show why both Liverpool and the German will not part ways.
“That’s not going to happen,” Hutchison told Premier League Productions via HITC. “It won’t happen. Jurgen Klopp has said it.
“When Jurgen Klopp was at Dortmund and he went through the same sort of results, and he left, there were loads of mitigating circumstances.
“They had sold Lewandowski. They sold Mario Gotze, Kagawa and Nuri Sahin. It was different.
“When Jurgen Klopp left, or when they sacked him, their chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke said ‘the biggest mistake we made in Germany was sacking Jurgen Klopp - what we should have done is sack half the team’.
“Because they knew how special Klopp was.”
Sherwood responded by saying: “They won’t sack him, I haven’t said that. He will walk away.”
Hutchison then added: “He won’t. He has already said it last week, ‘I will rebuild this team’, and the Liverpool fans will back him.”
