It was not racist: New Zealand woman says police came to her house for her 'Welcome to New India' FB post

Renee-Rose Schwenke, a New Zealand woman, has claimed that police came knocking on her door, accusing her of a racist attitude after she posted a photo on Facebook with a caption reading: 'Welcome to New India'. It was a photo of herself with two men of Indian appearance in the background. Schwenke said the Facebook post, which she did not deem as racist, was flooded with abusive comments from Indians and eventually the post got reported to the police who hunted her down.
