Nicola Peltz has once again addressed rumours that she is feuding with mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.
It was first reported that the two were at odds over Peltz’s decision to wear a custom Valentino gown to her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham instead of one designed by the former Spice Girl last year.
Now just weeks before her wedding anniversary, Peltz has slammed the ongoing rift reports.
“I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud,” the 28-year-old told Cosmopolitan. “I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things.
“It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong.”
Peltz married Brooklyn, 24, who is Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son, in a lavish ceremony at her family’s Miami estate last April.
Both Peltz and the former Spice Girl have previously denied reports of a rift, and the Transformers actress recently supported Mrs Beckham at a fashion show for her clothing brand along with the rest of the Beckham family.
After the event Beckham, 49, posted a photo of the family with Peltz and captioned the image: “We couldn’t do it without you, I love you all so much!”
Speaking to Variety last summer, Peltz explained that her decision to rock a Valentino wedding gown was not a snub to Beckham, but a matter of logistics.
“I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to,” she insisted.
”And then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
“She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”
In the same article, Brooklyn added: “I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that.
“They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.”
She also previously told Grazia: “I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created.
“I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story.”
