Liverpool fans are convinced they are about to see the best of Trent Alexander-Arnold once again after spotting the defender's new look.
Alexander-Arnold today reported back to the AXA Training Centre along with 13 other first-team players for the first day of pre-season, joining the rest of the squad who have been put through their paces since Saturday.
It is no secret the 24-year-old dipped below his usual performance levels early on last season, though the West Derby-born right-back enjoyed an impressive return to form during the final run of fixtures after being utilised in a new system by Jurgen Klopp. There is now an expectation the Reds' boss will build on this approach during 2023/24.
Supporters are yet to see Liverpool in action with their summer recruits, though are already certain Alexander-Arnold is one player who will be a key player next term after noticing his new haircut. The No.66 has ditched his long hair, returning to his short style of previous years.

Alexander-Arnold had shared an imagine of himself with braids at the end of June, though has taken the decision to revert to the look fans became accustomed to during his rise within the Reds' team.
Explaining his decision behind this change, the Liverpool Academy graduate said: "The hair speaks for itself. Fresh start. New season, new me. We're back and we're better."
Offering their views on Alexander-Arnold making this switch, supporters are adamant this will result in the Reds' star hitting the heights of past campaigns.
